Las Vegas Bets on Life Program close to reaching zero zero-kill goal. This June '98 article from the front page of USA Today discusses Las Vegas' radical no-kill citywide initiative. Article also highlight high-volume spay/neuter programs across the country. Las Vegas mayor, Jan Jones, is quoted " What Las Vegas is doing now, by breaking the endless cycle of uncontrolled breeding - is the only way to take charge of the situation".
